Twelve years. That’s how long Mary &Alex had been apart before fate brought them back together.
They first met in 2002 at the legendary Stock Exchange Nightclub, a whirlwind romance that lasted just a few months. The timing wasn’t right—Alex hadn’t realized that the woman of his dreams was about to slip through his grip. So, with a bittersweet goodbye, they parted ways, carrying the memories of what could have been.


Life went on. Mary started her career, loved, and lost… And well let’s just say Alex lived a fun life & traveled the world (We’ll leave that right there). But in the quiet moments, when life slowed down, they would think of each other—wondering where the other was, if they were happy, if they ever thought about those brief, beautiful months. Alex always knew Mary was the one that “got away” & Mary always wondered “What if…”


Then, one unexpected day, their paths crossed again. It wasn’t a grand moment, no movie-like scene of fate intervening dramatically. It was simple—AT THE BREA MALL! Mary was rushing out of the mall the night before Lexi’s prom & Alex was on his out after not finding his boujee jeans. Alex was pre-occupied on the phone but couldn’t resist staring at this GORGEOUS WOMAN coming his way. As Mary got closer, he recognized her! AFTER 12 YEARS! He called out her name “Mary! Mary Ann!” Mary turned around wondering who in the world was calling her by her legal name and just like that, the years melted away.


They went to dinner that same night, Alex walked Mary to her car but Mary couldn’t resist Alex’s FINE ASS BODY so she went IN FOR QUICK SCAM! (Alex will say she raped him, THAT’S A LIE!) When they got home they talked for hours, reminiscing and laughing, discovering that, despite the years apart, something between them had never truly faded. This time, there were no obstacles, no wrong timing—just two people who had lived enough life to know that some love stories deserve a second chance.


And so, After 10 years, after living the highs & the lows in their relationship, after building an unbreakable bond, they went on an incredible trip to Norway to see the Aurora Borealis, Mary’s #1 destination on her bucket list. AFTER 6 HOURS of chasing the Northern Lights & NOTHING…. Alex decided he would propose around a bonfire & put a smile on Mary’s face since she wouldn’t be able to see the lights that night…. Not 45 seconds after proposing the sky lit up! It was a celebration & something you would only see in a fairytale.


The vows they will be exchanging aren’t just about love, but about patience, destiny, and the belief that what is meant to be will always find its way back.
